SpamHaus, SpamCop and Open Relay Data Base (ORDB) Block lists

Recently to help stop the rising tide of spam coming from illegal exploits, we integrated into Spamfilter realtime integration with  SpamHaus Exploits Block List (XBL), a realtime DNS-based database of IP addresses of illegal 3rd party exploits, including open proxies, worms/viruses with built-in spam engines, and other types of trojan-horse exploits utilized by spammers.

The foundation of these Block Lists are network databases containing hundreds of thousands of IP addresses belonging to  verified spam sources (including spammers, spam gangs and spam support services), maintained by the Spamhaus Project, SpamCop and ORDB teams and supplied as a free service to help email administrators and users to better manage incoming email streams.

Spamfilter fully supports SpamHaus SBL - XBL. Extract relevant network information including IP address,technical contact, administrator

• Extract domain information from any suspicious email:nameserver,phone number, street address,country, host,etc

1. Reverse Lookup: Tests if the ip address of the sender exists.
2. Syntax: Tests if the email address of the sender is syntactically correct.

This new interface supports most Real Time Blackholes RBL lists. RBL lists are internet distributed Spam Databases that integrates the Spam Prevention System.
